History and tradition

The Mitter-Stiller farmhouse is one of the oldest and most important buildings in Renon/Ritten

The Mitterstiller farm was first mentioned in writing in 1470, although the walls date back to 1280. The Gothic Stube lounge dates back to the 15th century and in the course of the centuries, the farmhouse has been renovated over 10 times. The Mitter-Stiller farmhouse is one of the oldest and most important buildings in Renon/Ritten, and is of great historical importance.

Thomas and Helene purchased the farm in 2007, saved it from ruin and have, through painstaking effort and the utmost of sensitivity in restoration works, brought it to life once again.
The result is a house overflowing with personality, warmth and history. They live there with their children, and have now opened to guests.
